Visit England Guest AccommodationThe Corona is situated close to the Pleasure beach, although the neighbourhood is semi residential it is extremely quiet in the South shore area of Blackpool; we are very close to the train station, International airport and South pier, Sandcastle Water Park and G-casino. Free parking is available on and off site. Although we cannot reserve parking, ample street parking is also free. All 22 modern rooms are non smoking; all offer en-suite shower rooms with daily maid service, Flat screen TV?s with 50+ channels, hospitality tray, hair dryers and Egyptian cotton bedding with duvets. We have been awarded 4 star Guest accommodation accreditation by Visit England, ensuring all our guests a safe, comfortable & enjoyable stay. Breakfast is included unless stated & served from 8.30am each morning, your room number is also your individual table number. Breakfast to go is also offered for earlier departures. Evening meals are available from our casual dining menu, an ample selection, cooked fresh to order for those guests who choose to dine in with us. Snacks are available daily (restricted times) Single, double, twin and family rooms for 3-4 or 5 are available. Superior rooms are also offered at a small supplement but include slippers, robes, mineral water, complimentary continental breakfast served in your room if required. Our Luxury room also includes all the above as well as a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival served in the room, as well as an Iron and mini Ironing board, a seating area and a lovely compact fully tiled shower room with his & her toiletries. The luxury room also offers reserved parking on site with advance bookings only, and only if requested at time of booking. We specialise in solo travellers, couples and family short breaks. Business travellers are more than welcome for 1 or more nights. We do not accept groups of Stag or Hens.
Directions
With direct links to the M55/M6 (Only 5 minutes drive from the motorway)at the end of motorway, stay in left lane, follow airport signs about 2 miles, after airport, continue straight to T junction and turn right on to Clifton drive. Follow road to the Big One and we are on the left. A59 (Coast road from Southport) connecting to Clifton Drive & reaching the Hotel couldn't be easier. Blackpool pleasure beach train station is just 2 minutes walk, & Blackpool International Airport with flights arriving from Spain, Dublin, Isl of Man, Belfast , plus many more on a daily basis is just 2 minutes by taxi. Manchester Airport is a 1 hour drive, we are pleased to advise on specialist taxi companies that operate a return pick-up service.
