Visit Wales Guest AccommodationBlackthorn farm is a family run business located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and most rooms have fantastic views of the sea and surrounding countryside. We are approx 6 minutes drive from the ferry terminal in Holyhead for sailings to Ireland. Each room is individually styled and finished to a high standard. The whole property has been completely re-furbished recently. Breakfast is freshly cooked using local produce, including the butcher?s award winning sausages, between 8am and 10am. For guests requiring breakfast before 8am a continental breakfast will be provided. We are set in 18 acres of rolling headland and the perfect location for walking, fishing, bird watching, climbing, sailing, power boating or complete relaxation. We also have a small touring caravan site open from 1st March to 31st October and a camping field for tents used during peak school holiday weeks. Each bedroom has a widescreen tv with freeview and dvd. We offer a supper menu on Friday evenings, please see our website for details of the menu. Packed lunches also available. Directions
At the end of A55 (Holyhead) take first left off roundabout (direction Trearddur Bay) then first immediate right onto Porthdafarch Rd, go to the end, turn right, after half mile Blackthorn Farm is on your left. From the ferry terminal go to A55 roundabout outside the port, take the 2nd exit and proceed as above.
