B Self-Accredited Budget Hotel
Argyll, Highland, PA38 4BW

The Stewart Hotel is a superbly located and well appointed 37 bedroomed hotel, located midway between Oban and Fort William, and within easy reach of the Western Isles and also stunning Glencoe. The original house was built in 1860, and is located in Glen Duror, near Appin, a place mentioned in the famous novel ?Kidnapped? with its main character being James Stewart. The surrounding area is steeped in Scottish highland history. With fantastic panoramic views over Loch Linnhe and the Morvern peninsula, this privately owned Scottish highland hotel offers all year round accommodation and a wide range of special breaks. It is also the absolutely perfect venue for a truly memorable Scottish highland wedding. The hotel offers two dining experiences; we have our public bar where we offer traditional homemade dishes using only locally sourced fresh produce, a wide selection of draught beers and lagers and a stunning selection of single malt whiskies from both local and national distilleries. We also have our restaurant which offers a contrasting dining experience where our highly skilled brigade of chefs use their creativity and flair to provide our guests with a real highland dining experience. There is an extensive wine list carefully selected to complement our cuisine. In the summer months, our beer garden offers our guests the opportunity of dining ?Al Fresco? with the most amazing views of the truly spectacular highland scenery.
