The dining room and residents lounge are situated on the first floor to take full advantage of the outstanding views of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. The whole house benefits from underfloor heating and there is also Wi-Fi throughout. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair, either the full Welsh breakfast or the daily special ?both made with delicious locally sourced ingredients. We also provide delicious 3 course evening meals on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday when the local pub is shut. Westview is set in half an acre of its own grounds with plenty of off-road parking, a large lawn to the rear and a front lawn with peerless view of the hills. Set in the quiet village of Llowes, the thriving market town of Hay-on-Wye, so famous for its second-hand book shops and literary festival is nearby and this is a perfect base to explore all that the Brecon Beacons National Park has to offer.
Directions
Westview is located in the village of Llowes just a couple of miles from Hay-on-Wye. From the A438 Hereford to Brecon road, turn opposite the Radnor Arms, by the phone box and follow the road thorugh the village and slightly uphill for about 300 metres. Westview Guesthouse is on your right hand side just before you leave the village. A gravel driveway leads to ample parking and a warm welcome awaits you.
