The restaurant benefits from a large window wall at one end allowing light to flood through making for a pleasant and inviting environment. A small tots play area provides a safe area in which guests of 4yrs and under can relax and let off a bit off steam. The Hotel has 20 well appointed bedrooms (some with baths, all with showers) which make for a comfortable and restful oasis for those away from home. The majority of the bedrooms are located to the rear of the building away from the road and all bedrooms were comprehensively refurbished as part of the recent development of the Wellington into an Eating Inn. The bedrooms benefit from en-suite shower rooms with a few having the additional benefit of a bath & shower. Every has plasma screen television and there is free WI-FI in the restaurant for everyone to use. So if you are looking for a comfortable nights stay accompanied by great food then the Wellington is just the ticket!

To reach Wellington Hotel by road? From the south: follow the A90 then take the A956 signed Aberdeen Harbour. At the first roundabout, take the second exit into Wellington Road: The Hotel is first on the left. From the city: follow signs for the A90 south. At the Altens/Cove roundabout take the fifth exit onto Wellington Road (doubling back) and the hotel is first on the left. If you?re coming to Wellington Hotle Altens by rail? As you leave Aberdeen station, turn left, cross over the bridge and turn left again. Follow the A956 towards Dundee, and at the Altens/Cove roundabout take the fifth exit onto Wellington Road (doubling back) and the hotel is first on the left. From Aberdeen Airport? Follow the signs to the City Centre. At the Haudagain roundabout turn right onto the A90 Anderson Drive signposted to Dundee. Follow this road for about six miles. Cross the Bridge of Dee and bear left onto Great Southern Road signposted Altens/Tullos. Go straight on at the next two roundabouts: at the third (Nigg) turn right onto Wellington Road. At the Altens/Cove roundabout take the fifth exit onto Wellington Road (doubling back) and the hotel is first on the left.
