AA HotelAll of the 30 bedrooms are individual in character with traditional features. The hotel can be traced to1860 but was an Inn before that, serving the coastal port at the end of the garden. It boasts fantastic views over the river Ythan to the sea. The sea mouth is home to a large seal colony which is part of the Forvie Nature Reserve. We are immensly proud to offer our guests superb food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. We are almost at the end of our second year here and are looking forward to the summer when more improvements are planned to ensure that the guest experience continues to improve. This is a traditional old building and will appeal to those people who are "Foodies" or guests who are not looking for a modern hotel feel.

Driving North out of Aberdeen on the A90 heading for Peterhead you will drive past a village called Balmedie which will be on your right. 3 miles past Balmedie you turn right down the A975 which is sign posted Newburgh. Carry on down this road and the first village you come to is Newburgh. We are in the centre of the Village on the right hand side
